Key Responsibilities - **Troubleshooting:** Use multimeters and specialized diagnostic software to identify electrical, electronic, and mechanical faults. - **Battery & Motor Systems:** Repair, replace, and configure Battery Management Systems (BMS), battery packs, and hub motors. - **Software & Firmware:** Flash vehicle control units (VCUs) and calibrate connected-app features. - **System Handling:** Update vehicle health and repair status in Workshop Management Systems (WMS) like Zendesk or Getafix. - **Safety Compliance:** Adhere to high-voltage safety protocols, wear insulated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and maintain a secure service bay. [1, 2] Qualifications & Requirements - **Education:** ITI or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Automobile Engineering. - **Experience:** 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in EV servicing or automotive mechanics. - **Core Skills:** Ability to read electrical schematics, understand lithium-ion battery management, and use diagnostic software.
