Key Responsibilities • Troubleshooting: Use multimeters and specialized diagnostic software to identify electrical, electronic, and mechanical faults. • Battery & Motor Systems: Repair, replace, and configure Battery Management Systems (BMS), battery packs, and hub motors. • Software & Firmware: Flash vehicle control units (VCUs) and calibrate connected-app features. • System Handling: Update vehicle health and repair status in Workshop Management Systems (WMS) like Zendesk or Getafix. • Safety Compliance: Adhere to high-voltage safety protocols, wear insulated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and maintain a secure service bay. [1, 2] Qualifications & Requirements • Education: ITI or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Automobile Engineering. • Experience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in EV servicing or automotive mechanics. • Core Skills: Ability to read electrical schematics, understand lithium-ion battery management, and use diagnostic software.
