At Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a MuleSoft Job Description (JD) requires building and managing API-led integration solutions on the Anypoint Platform. Typically targeting 8 to 14 years of experience, candidates must possess strong Mule 4, DataWeave, and Java skills to support enterprise digital transformation. TCSs role requirements, responsibilities, and corporate prerequisites for MuleSoft practitioners are organized below:**Core Roles & Responsibilities** - **API Design & Development:** Build and maintain REST/SOAP web services using RAML or OpenAPI in Anypoint Studio and API Manager. - **Data Transformation:** Implement complex data transformations using **DataWeave 2.0**, along with robust exception handling and MUnit testing. - **Architecture & Strategy:** Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) using Agile methodologies to build scalable, high-performance integration solutions. - **Platform Management:** Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and monitor API performance across Dev, QA, UAT, and Production environments. **Mandatory Technical Skills** - **MuleSoft Expertise:** Deep understanding of Mule ESB, CloudHub, Runtime Manager, and Anypoint Exchange. - **Programming Background:** Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and related integration tools (Postman, Git, PostgreSQL). - **Security & Protocols:** Familiarity with integrating SaaS portfolios and securing data endpoints using OAuth 2.0, PGP, and HTTPS. - **Certifications:** MCPA (MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect) or MCIA (MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect) are heavily preferred for senior or lead roles. **General TCS Norms & Criteria** - **Educational Background:** Minimum 15 years of full-time education (10th, 12th, and a Bachelor’s degree like B.Tech, B.E., or MCA). - **Experience Range- 8-14 Years** - **Location-Pune**
