Focusing on digital transformation and energy transition, the team leverages data-driven insights to optimize sales performance and maximize customer value.   Roles and Responsibilities In this role, you will: • Engineer data models and data transformations • Determine what data extract, transform, and load (ETL) operations are necessary for a given requirement • Schedule, monitor, and debug data operations jobs • Work with data architects and other data engineers to implement requests from business stakeholders • Contribute to the continual improvement of standards and conventions in data organization • Communicate ideas and designs clearly to technical stakeholders • Explain the thinking behind design choices and approach technical criticism and suggestions with humility Requirements • Bachelor's Degree. Minimum 8 years of experience in software engineering with substantial experience in data engineering, or 4 years of strong experience in data engineering, with strong expertise in data modeling and data architecture. • Strong experience with SQL, Python Desired Characteristics Technical Expertise: • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum methodology • Understanding of code review/GitHub/version control • Understanding on designing & implementing data pipelines • Understanding on building AI-ready data foundations • Experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g. Data Bricks, Azure) • Experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools to improve developer productivity, code quality, and software delivery efficiency. • Experience with object-oriented languages would be a bonus • Understanding of SAP or Oracle would be a bonus Personal Attributes: • Driven and determined to deliver • Able to work independently and as a team member • Able and willing to communicate openly in a group and individually (e.g. brainstorming and problem solving) • Eager to take the initiative to solve problems • Positive, proactive, growth mindset is key • Must embrace opportunities to learn and be willing to step outside of comfort zone • React open-mindedly to new perspectives or ideas.
