With more than 20 years of experience, Siemens GBS taps into its understanding of how organizations and businesses work to seamlessly integrate, digitalize and optimize business processes with a portfolio that covers end-to-end business needs. **You'll make a difference by** * Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and microservices architectures * Build and enhance cloud-native platforms on AWS and/or Azure * Develop production-ready AI and LLM tools, including orchestration, model routing, and failover strategies * Design and implement RAG systems with hybrid retrieval, vector search, metadata-aware chunking, and reranking * Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and deployment workflows incl. Kubernetes * Collaborate closely with global service engineering teams on architecture, usability and technical delivery **Hard Skills** **Your success is grounded in:** * Several years of experience in software engineering incl. UI and distributed systems design * Strong programming skills in Python and/or Java * Strong knowledge of AWS and/or Azure * Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform * Practical experience with LLM applications, agent-based architectures, RAG pipelines, and vector search * Experience with monitoring, logging, and distributed tracing using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK Stack **Soft Skills** * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and highly self-organised work manner * A structured, pragmatic, and quality-focused way of working * The ability to translate complex technical requirements into scalable solutions * Highly motivated and eager to deep dive in railway service domain know-how **Join us and be yourself!** We value your unique identity and perspective and are fully committed to providing equitable opportunities and building a workplace that reflects the diversity of society.
