Director - Mechatronics

Job description

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering. - Minimum 15+ years of experience in hardware/mechatronics product design and development. - 8-10+ years of leadership experience managing global engineering teams. - Strong experience in automotive electro-mechanical systems such as cockpit electronics, infotainment, displays, or embedded systems. - Deep knowledge of embedded electronics architectures and system-level design - Strong understanding of mechatronics integration (mechanical + electronics + systems). - Proven expertise in EMC, DFM, DFT, DFMEA, and automotive quality standards - Strong appreciation for requirements engineering and impact on cost, quality, and performance. - Experience in new product development lifecycle (NPD) for electro-mechanical products. - Exposure to CAE, simulation, and validation/testing domains. - Ability to lead complex global programs across multiple geographies. **Should be an expert in:** - Advanced Engineering & Technology Development - People Development & Change Management - Strategic Planning and Organizational Leadership - Decision Making and Influencing Stakeholders - Proven ability to build, scale, and mentor high-performing teams. - Strong cross-cultural communication and stakeholder management skills. - Exposure to global customers/culture is a strong advantage.
