Role Overview We are seeking a visionary, execution-focused Director of Engineering to lead complex, outcome-driven digital product engineering programs. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of strategic consulting, modern delivery management, and cutting-edge technology. We are an IT services company working primarily in the digital product engineering space, ensuring that our technical delivery directly empowers clients to successfully commercialize and sell their products globally, while optimizing internal functions for productivity and efficiency. You are a well-rounded leader who architecturally steers engagements from research and strategy through to experience design and deployment. Crucially, you will champion an AI-First approach, leveraging advanced AI tools, technologies, and implementations to solve our clients' most complex business problems, accelerate time-to-market, and drive absolute operational excellence. 2. Executive Experience Profile Metric / Domain Requirement Specification Total IT Experience 20+ years of progressive leadership in information technology and software engineering. Digital Transformation 6+ years directing large-scale, complex digital transformation programs. Domain Expertise 5+ years transforming clients within Industrial Automation, Industry 5.0, Smart Buildings, and IoT ecosystems. Financial Governance Proven ownership of full portfolio Profit & Loss (P&L), with deep expertise in margin management, resource utilization, and commercial profitability (beyond simple project revenue tracking). 3. Core Pillars of Responsibility 3.1 AI Leadership & Technology Strategy  AI-First Problem Solving: Architect, advise, and deploy AI tools, technologies, and frameworks to systematically solve complex enterprise client challenges.  Technical Advisory: Proactively contribute to technical architecture and solution-related discussions of platforms connected to the overall product vision, communicating effectively with internal and external CXO-level leadership.  Cloud & DevOps Governance: Drive cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) and DevOps conversations, overseeing robust build and release management pipelines and advising DevOps teams and clients on the optimal way forward. 3.2 Strategy, Advisory & Workshop Frameworks  Discovery & Advisory Ownership: Independently anchor high-stakes discovery and advisory phases single-handedly with the right supporting team, establishing business cases, defining business outcomes, and outlining context diagrams.  Strategic Workshop Design: Create structured, repeatable frameworks for strategic client-facing workshops—specifically covering Design Workshops, Service Blueprints, Service Design lifecycles, Value Proposition development, and Value Stream mapping.  Applied Experience: Fully explain and demonstrate how these workshop frameworks were directly applied and executed within past delivered programs to solve real-world problems.  Go-to-Market (GTM) Alignment: Define and contribute to the product viewpoint, business architecture, and GTM strategy to ensure technical deliverables match market opportunities. 3.3 End-to-End Delivery & Portfolio Governance  Complex Program Execution: Direct end-to-end program execution using robust RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs, ensuring high-velocity, predictable, and clean engineering delivery.  Scaled Agile Excellence: Serve as an Agile Coach and delivery champion; design, implement, establish, and govern Scaled Agile Frameworks (SAFe, Scrum of Scrums/SoS). Train and mentor both internal teams and clients.  Agile Framework Mechanics: Help teams navigate story pointing, prioritization frameworks, and setting up complex programs and their tracks.  Commercial & P&L Mastery: Manage the true P&L of the portfolio—governing not only project revenue but all aspects including margin management, cross-track efficiency, and contract delivery negotiations across various contract types.  Cross-Functional KPI Design: Define and implement a comprehensive KPI framework spanning Product Quality, Experience Design, Technology Health, and Delivery Velocity, along with their exact measurement criteria. 3.4 Industry & Domain Expertise  Industrial Automation & Industry 5.0: Deep understanding of transforming legacy systems into highly automated, modernized digital platforms.  Smart Environments: Domain expertise in Building Management Systems (BMS) and Factories Automation.  Connected Infrastructure: Practical leadership on Utilities industry frameworks and any enterprise domain where large-scale IoT projects have been implemented. 3.5 Managed Services & Operational Excellence  Traditional Operations: Oversee robust Managed Services portfolios encompassing ITIL-aligned Incident Management, Change Management, and Problem Management.  Next-Generation Trends: Infuse modern operational methodologies, such as Intelligent Swarming, Cloud Management, and AI-driven automated operations, into client support models.  SLA Governance: Standardize, monitor, and report on rigorous Service Level Agreement (SLA) and reporting frameworks to maintain absolute system health and reliability. 3.6 Pre-Sales Pursuits & Organizational Growth  Pursuit Anchoring: Take full ownership of pre-sales activities, partnering with Client Partners to architect proposals, estimate engineering effort, and anchor strategic pursuits with full accountability.  Organizational Contribution: Visualize, design, and implement internal organizational growth initiatives, inspiring and encouraging team members to actively contribute to the company's growth charter. 3.7 People & Culture Leadership  Talent Frameworks: Design, contribute to, and drive robust career development frameworks and comprehensive appraisal processes to cultivate
