Toast creates technology to help restaurants and local businesses succeed in a digital world, helping business owners operate, increase sales, engage customers, and keep employees happy. Toast is the all-in-one restaurant technology platform built for the demands of the restaurant and hospitality industries. From independent operators to global enterprise chains with thousands of locations, Toast powers the full guest and operator experience — point of sale, kitchen display, payroll, analytics, and beyond. We serve over 160,000 restaurant locations and are growing rapidly in the enterprise and international segments. Our Enterprise segment partners with the world's largest restaurant and hospitality brands to modernize their technology stack and deliver the operational intelligence they need to run complex, multi-location operations at scale. Our Bengaluru R&D hub is a first-class part of that story We are looking for a Director of Product Management to own and drive consequential charters within Toast Enterprise Core Platform. This is not a contributing role — it is full charter ownership, end-to-end. At this level, you are expected to operate with the scope and strategic impact while remaining deeply hands-on with the product. You will be based in Bengaluru and embedded in our India R&D organization, with meaningful partnership with product, engineering, go-to-market, and customer teams across the company. Toast's largest enterprise customers require features that cut across multiple engineering codebases — features that no single platform team owns end-to-end. The Away Team exists to build those features: shipping enterprise capabilities inside codebases owned by other Toast teams, on behalf of customers whose operational requirements don't fit neatly into any single away team's roadmap. This is a cross-cutting, complex, and high-leverage product charter critical to our success. Full charter ownership here means you define what gets built, in which system, with what sequencing — and you hold the accountability for delivery across all of it. Why This Role • Full ownership, not a slice. You own two complete charters, end-to-end. The Away Team and Enterprise Reporting are yours to define, drive, and deliver — with the scope and strategic altitude that comes with the director level at the company. • Genuinely unsolved problems. The cross-codebase delivery model and enterprise analytics vision are not solved problems at Toast. You will be writing the playbook, not executing one that already exists. • Customers that run at scale. The enterprise brands on our customer list operate hundreds to thousands of locations worldwide. Your roadmap decisions directly affect how those businesses run. • Bengaluru is a first-class org. The Away Team is based here. Toast's India R&D hub has full product and engineering ownership — this is not offshore execution. You will be at the center of it. • Visibility to executive leadership. The Enterprise segment is a company-level priority. This role has direct exposure to VP/GM leadership and regular involvement in executive-level roadmap and strategy discussions. • India hours, global impact. You will operate primarily from Bengaluru, owning product that runs in markets across the US and internationally — with the credibility and organizational standing to match. A day in the life (Responsibilities) Embrace and advocate for the use of AI tools to accelerate product discovery, streamline execution, and explore new product experiences - helping shape how we build and what we build. • Drive cross-codebase delivery. Partner with engineering and product owners across Toast's platform teams to ship enterprise features in their systems. Navigate competing roadmaps, set clear success criteria, and hold delivery against contractual commitments. • Define the enterprise reporting vision. Understand deeply how multi-location restaurant operators measure performance and make decisions. Translate that understanding into a multi-year roadmap for enterprise-grade reporting — one that positions Toast as the data platform our largest customers depend on. • Represent enterprise customers at the highest level. You will be the PM voice for some of the world's largest restaurant and hospitality brands in roadmap discussions, cross-functional reviews, and executive conversations. These are customers with signed contractual commitments and high expectations. • Operate across Bengaluru and the US. Partner daily with engineering, UX, solutions, go-to-market, and customer success across Bengaluru and US-based teams. This role requires consistent US Eastern Time overlap. • Contribute to Enterprise strategy. Your two charters — cross-platform delivery and analytics — sit at the intersection of every other Enterprise product charter. You will have a seat at the table on long-range planning, investment decisions, and what Enterprise looks like in three years. What you'll need to thrive (Requirements) • 15+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years in enterprise or B2B SaaS — specifically owning complex product surface areas, not contributing to them • Strong ability to hire, develop, and lead high-performing teams • Track record of driving delivery that required cross-team coordination across engineering organizations that did not report to you. Influence without authority is core to this role. • Experience owning analytics, reporting, or data platform products —
