The ideal candidate will work closely with Computer Vision, ML, Platform, and Data Engineering teams to connect entities from text, images, geospatial data, and structured sources into a unified knowledge graph that powers downstream products and workflows. - **Role: Domain Consultant** - **Location: Pune, Mumbai, Nagpur** - **Experience: 15 to 20 years** - **Job Type: Full-Time Employment** **What You'll Do:** - Implement and evolve graph schemas and entity models for people, locations, organizations, images, and events. - Build and maintain entity resolution pipelines that reconcile entities across NLP, Computer Vision, and structured data sources. - Develop ingestion pipelines that write resolved entities into graph platforms such as ArangoDB, Spanner Graph, and BigQuery Graph. - Contribute to cross-modal linkage between text, images, and geospatial data, including confidence scoring and provenance tracking. - Collaborate with Computer Vision engineers to integrate visual entity outputs into the graph layer. - Help build graph-backed APIs and services used by downstream products and workflows. - Write tests, participate in design discussions, and support improvements in data quality and pipeline reliability. - Work closely with ML, Platform, and Data Engineering teams to deliver scalable graph-based solutions. **Expertise You'll Bring:** - 12+ years of professional software engineering experience. - Strong proficiency in Python and at least one typed language such as Java, Go, C#, or TypeScript. - Hands-on experience with graph databases or graph processing frameworks including ArangoDB, Neo4j, TigerGraph, JanusGraph, NetworkX, or similar technologies. - Strong understanding of graph modeling, graph architectures, and knowledge graph implementation. - Solid understanding of SQL and core data modeling concepts including keys, normalization, joins, and indexing. - Familiarity with semantic modeling and schema design concepts such as RDF, OWL, Property Graphs, and JSON-LD. - Experience with entity resolution, record linkage, deduplication, and data reconciliation techniques. - Experience developing and maintaining data ingestion and processing pipelines. - Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP services such as Spanner, BigQuery, and Cloud Run. - Experience implementing data quality checks, testing data pipelines, and leveraging observability tools. - Exposure to search, ranking, retrieval-based systems, and information discovery platforms. - Experience working with Computer Vision, NLP, geospatial data, or multimodal systems. - Understanding of confidence scoring, provenance tracking, and cross-modal data linkage. - Strong knowledge of API development and graph-backed services. - Good knowledge of tools such as JIRA and Confluence. - Good understanding of Agile methodologies and a proven ability to prioritize effectively. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across ML, Data Engineering, and Platform Engineering domains. **Benefits:** - Competitive salary and benefits package - Culture focused on talent development with quarterly growth opportunities and company-sponsored higher education and certifications - Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies - Employee engagement initiatives such as project parties, flexible work hours, and Long Service awards - Annual health check-ups - Insurance coverage: group term life, personal accident, and Mediclaim hospitalization for self, spouse, two children, and parents **Values-Driven, People-Centric & Inclusive Work Environment:** Persistent is dedicated to fostering diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
