Job description

As the Head of IT Landscape Harmonization Configuration Management, you will lead the strategic alignment and optimization of the IT application landscape, while ensuring robust configuration management practices across the organization. You will drive harmonization initiatives, oversee the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), and foster a culture of digital transformation and operational excellence. **Key Responsibilities** - **Landscape Harmonization** - Develop and execute strategies to harmonize and rationalize the IT application landscape across all business domains (manufacturing, quality, supply chain, procurement, etc.). - Promote and enforce the use of backbone systems (e.g., SAP GSI, PLM, Ariba) and integrate local solutions into these core platforms. - Lead the decommissioning of redundant or overlapping applications to reduce complexity and improve efficiency. - Ensure compliance with the organizations Core Model and Process Solution Architecture. - Act as an ambassador for landscape harmonization, revealing shadow IT and promoting best practices across the enterprise. - Collaborate with domain architects, directors, and regional SPOCs to align harmonization efforts globally. - **Configuration Management** - Position and maintain the CMDB as the single source of truth for IT assets and configuration data. - Oversee end-to-end configuration management processes, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and automation of data uploads. - Define and implement strong governance models, roles, and responsibilities for configuration management stakeholders. - Drive continuous improvement and expansion of CMDB scope to cover the entire IST landscape. - Maintain close relationships with service owners, application owners, architects, and IST Directors. - Communicate configuration management strategy, priorities, and project updates to internal and external partners. - Report regularly to IT leadership on priorities, challenges, and strategic adaptations. - Measure stakeholder satisfaction and implement improvement plans. - **Leadership Transformation** - Lead IT projects focused on landscape optimization and digital transformation. - Foster a culture of agility, innovation, and continuous improvement within the IST organization. - Manage multi-partner teams in complex, international environments. - Engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment and sponsorship from IT leadership. **Required Skills Qualifications** - Bachelors degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred. - 8+ years in application management, configuration management, or IT project management, preferably in manufacturing domains. - ITIL certification required; experience with ServiceNow platform preferred. - Strong understanding of SAP GSI, PLM, Azure Cloud, and server hosting. - Experience with project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Prototyping). - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. - Outstanding communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal abilities. - Proven ability to work independently and lead virtual, geographically dispersed teams. - Experience in managing multi-partner teams in a global context. **Core Competencies** - Strategic vision and operational excellence - Change management and digital transformation - Stakeholder engagement and influence - Results orientation and attention to detail - Inclusive leadership and cross-cultural collaboration
