**Job Summary** A Duck Creek Policy Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing business requirements, translating them into functional specifications, and supporting implementation of Duck Creek Policy Administration System (PAS). The role bridges business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful configuration and delivery of insurance solutions. **Key Responsibilities** - Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for Duck Creek Policy modules (Policy, Rating, Underwriting). - Work closely with stakeholders (underwriters, business users) to understand insurance workflows. - Translate business requirements into **functional specifications, BRDs, FRDs, and user stories**. - Participate in **Duck Creek Policy configuration** (rules, forms, workflows). - Support **system integration discussions** (billing, claims, third-party systems). - Conduct **gap analysis** and recommend solutions within Duck Creek framework. - Assist in **UAT planning, execution, and defect management**. - Work with development teams for requirement clarification and solution validation. - Ensure compliance with **insurance domain standards** (P&C preferred). - Support production issues and change requests. **Required Skills** - Strong experience in **Duck Creek Policy Administration (PAS)**. - Good understanding of **P&C insurance domain** (mandatory in most cases). - Knowledge of: - Policy lifecycle (quote bind issue endorsements renewals) - Rating & underwriting rules - Experience with: - **Requirement gathering & documentation** - Agile / Scrum methodologies - Familiarity with: - Duck Creek tools (Author, Product Studio, Example Server) - SQL (basic queries for validation) - Integration concepts (APIs, web services)
