They bridge business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring the insurance platform is scalable, secure, and aligned with business goals. Duck Creek is a cloud-based insurance software suite that helps insurers manage: * Policy Administration * Billing * Claims * Rating \& Pricing * Digital customer portals * Agent/Broker management Large insurers worldwide use Duck Creek to modernize their core insurance systems. Location : Pune **Job Description -- Duck Creek Solution Architect** **Role:** Duck Creek Solution Architect **Experience:** 10--15 years in P\&C Insurance Technology with 10 years of Duck Creek architecture and implementation experience. **Role Summary** We are seeking an experienced Duck Creek Solution Architect to lead the design, implementation, and evolution of Duck Creek solutions. The candidate should possess strong expertise in **Duck Creek Policy, Billing, Claims, Insights, and Clarity** , with working knowledge of **Policy Active Delivery (PAD)**. The role will be responsible for defining solution architecture, driving technical governance, supporting delivery teams, and ensuring alignment between business and technology objectives. **Key Responsibilities** * Define end-to-end solution architecture for Duck Creek implementations and enhancements. * Provide architectural leadership across Policy, Billing, Claims, Insights, and Clarity. * Design scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions leveraging Duck Creek capabilities. * Lead integration architecture with internal and external systems using APIs and modern integration patterns. * Review and approve solution designs, technical specifications, and implementation approaches. * Support release management, Active Delivery adoption, and cloud transformation initiatives. * Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, vendors, and delivery teams. * Mentor technical teams and establish architecture best practices. **Required Skills \& Experience** * Strong hands-on experience with: * Duck Creek Policy * Duck Creek Billing * Duck Creek Claims * Duck Creek Insights * Duck Creek Clarity * Policy Active Delivery (PAD) -- preferred * Experience with Duck Creek configuration, integrations, and data model extensions. * Strong knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, Azure Cloud, SQL Server, and DevOps practices. * Deep understanding of P\&C insurance processes including underwriting, policy administration, billing, and claims. * Experience leading large-scale Duck Creek implementation or modernization programs. **Preferred Certifications** * Duck Creek Policy, Billing, or Claims Certifications * Microsoft Azure Certifications (preferred) **Education** Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. **Key Competencies** Solution Architecture, Stakeholder Management, Technical Leadership, Vendor Management, Problem Solving, Communication, and Team Mentoring.
