Tata Capital emphasizes ethical practices, customer-centric solutions, and long-term growth. **Role Description** The Deputy Manager role at Tata Capital is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. The Deputy Manager will oversee daily operations within their assigned business vertical, including monitoring portfolio performance, ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory guidelines, and supporting achievement of sales and revenue targets. Responsibilities include analyzing financial data and customer profiles, preparing periodic reports and dashboards, and coordinating with cross-functional teams such as sales, credit, risk, and operations to resolve issues and streamline processes. The role involves managing key customer relationships, supporting loan and finance product lifecycle activities, and contributing to process improvements and efficiency initiatives. The Deputy Manager will also support team training, assist in audits and compliance reviews, and provide insights for strategic planning and business development. **Qualifications** - Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret financial data, portfolio metrics, and customer information. - Knowledge of financial services products such as consumer, housing, SME, and commercial finance; familiarity with credit assessment and risk principles is an advantage. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams and maintain professional customer relationships. - Organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail in documentation, reporting, and policy adherence. - Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and comfort with financial software or CRM systems. - Ability to work on-site in New Delhi, collaborate within teams, and take ownership of assigned targets and deliverables. - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification (MBA or equivalent) in a relevant discipline is preferred. - Prior experience in banking or non-banking financial services, especially in retail or SME lending, is beneficial.
