Job description

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead structural analysis of suspension systems (Control arms, knuckles, subframes, bushings, springs, dampers). Perform engine and powertrain structural analysis (engine block, mounts, brackets, housings). Execute linear and nonlinear FEA using Abaqus (static, dynamic, contact, pretension, rubber, fatigue). Perform load case development based on vehicle-level requirements (road loads, braking, cornering, engine excitation). Conduct durability, stiffness, and modal analysis using MSC / NX Nastran. Correlate CAE results with test data and close the loop with design teams. Drive CAE sign-off activities aligned with OEM quality gates and timelines and able to work under stringent timeline. Demonstrated strong engineering mindset with a focus on problem-solving and process optimization. Prepare clear technical reports and design recommendations for internal and external stakeholders. Propose and explain design optimization for weight, cost, and performance targets.
