E3D Piping Designer

Job Summary:\\*\\* We are seeking an experienced E3D Piping Designer to contribute to the design and development of complex piping systems for various industrial projects. This role involves creating detailed 3D models and 2D drawings while ensuring adherence to project specifications and industry standards. Job Responsibilities:\\*\\* \\* Develop 3D piping models and layouts using AVEVA E3D software based on P&IDs, equipment layouts, and project specifications. \\* Generate detailed 2D isometric drawings, general arrangement drawings, and piping plans. \\* Perform pipe routing, support design, and clash detection within the E3D model. \\* Collaborate with engineers, other designers, and project teams to ensure design integrity and constructability. \\* Review and incorporate vendor information, stress analysis results, and other relevant data into the design. \\* Prepare material take-offs (MTOs) and bill of materials (BOMs) for piping components. \\* Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry codes, standards (e.g., ASME, API), and client requirements. \\* Participate in design reviews and provide technical input. \\* Maintain accurate and organized project documentation. Job Qualifications:\\*\\* \\* Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. \\* Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Piping Designer, with a strong focus on E3D. \\* Proficiency in AVEVA E3D (formerly PDMS) is essential. \\* Solid understanding of piping design principles, codes, and standards. \\* Experience with P&ID interpretation and equipment layout. \\* Familiarity with piping specifications, valve selection, and special piping items. \\* Ability to perform clash detection and resolution. \\* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. \\* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. \\* Experience in the oil & gas, petrochemical, power, or similar heavy industrial sectors is preferred.
