EDA Methodology & Application Engineer - Design Compiler

**Your Role and Responsibilities:** We are looking for a passionate and experienced EDA Methodology Engineer to join our Backend EDA team, focusing on Physical design flow development using Synopsys DC/DCNXT. In this role, youll work closely with design teams and EDA vendors to develop and implement robust PD flows used by IBM ASIC design teams. Key Responsibilities - Develop and maintain Synthesis & physical design flows using Synopsys DC/DCNXT. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align synthesis & physical design methodology with design goals. - Drive methodology improvements. - Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver high-quality solutions. **Required Education:** Bachelor's Degree **Preferred education** Master's Degree **Required Technical and Professional Expertise:** - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or VLSI Design. - 58 years of hands-on experience with Synopsys DC/DCNXT. - Expertise in Tcl and Python scripting. - Deep knowledge of Physical design flow starting from Synthesis to GDS. - Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex physical design issues. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. **Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:** - Experience with Synopsys DC/DCNXT, Synopsys Fusion Compiler, Cadence Innovus, Synopsys ICC2 ****Years of Experience:**** 5 - 8
