**Greetings!** **TCS India presents excellent opportunities for IT professionals.** **Role :-** **EDF Kafka Developer** **Experience:- 4-10 years** **Location:- Pune, Chennai** **Required Technical Skill Set:-** - Strong hands-on experience in Apache Kafka and Confluent Kafka platform. - Proficiency in Java development for building streaming applications and microservices. - Experience in event-driven architecture and real-time data processing. - Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, SNS, SQS, etc.) for deployment and integration. - Experience in Kafka topics, partitions, producers, consumers, and stream processing (Kafka Streams). - Knowledge of message serialization formats such as JSON, Avro. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based version control, and deployment automation. - Understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and fault-tolerant design. **Must-Have** - Strong development experience in Apache Kafka / Confluent Kafka ecosystem. - Hands-on coding experience in Java. - Experience in designing and implementing real-time streaming solutions. - Strong understanding of event-driven architecture and messaging systems. **Good-to-Have** - Experience in AWS cloud services (EC2, SNS, SQS, Lambda) - Exposure to Kafka monitoring tools (Confluent Control Center, Prometheus, Grafana). - Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes). - Experience in banking/financial domain systems. **Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role** 1 Design and develop scalable Kafka-based streaming solutions. 2 Build and maintain producers and consumers for real-time data pipelines. 3 Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to define event-driven design patterns. 4 Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of Kafka applications. 5 Integrate systems using Kafka, APIs, and AWS services. 6 Participate in testing, deployment, and production support activities.
