EDRC ELV & ICT Design - Engineering Manager

Job description

To lead the design and integration of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems ensuring seamless interface with electrical and building services while maintaining reliability and safety standards. **SECTION III: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACCOUNTABILITIES** - Develop and coordinate ELV system designs including CCTV, access control, PA, BMS, and fire alarm systems. - Review drawings, schematics, and BOQs for accuracy and compliance with standards. - Coordinate ELV integration with electrical and mechanical systems. - Conduct design validation and optimize system layouts for performance and cost. - Support execution teams with technical clarifications and commissioning inputs. - Review vendor submissions and ensure interface compatibility **SECTION IV: KEY INTERACTIONS** **Internal Stakeholder** **Purpose of Interaction** - Electrical and ELV Execution Teams | To ensure smooth integration and installation BIM and Planning Teams | For model coordination and system scheduling Planning, Procurement, QA/QC Teams | To align material specifications and design standards **External Stakeholder** **Purpose of Interaction** - Clients and Consultants | Design approval and compliance review Vendors and Integrators | Technical alignment and interface coordination **SECTION V: KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE** **KNOWLEDGE** **Minimum Qualifications** - B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical/Building Services Engineering **Language Skills** - Proficient in English and local language for on-site coordination **Experience** **Years of Experience** - 8–12 years **Nature of Ex.** - Design and coordination of ELV systems for large-scale building projects with knowledge of NFPA, BICSI, BIS, and TIA standards. **SECTION VI: TECHNICAL & LEADERSHIP / BEHAVIORAL SKILLS REQUIRED TO EXECUTE THE ROLE** **Skills** **Technical Skills** Expertise in ELV systems and integration platforms (BMS, Fire Alarm, Security) / Working knowledge of design codes and performance standards **Leadership / Behavioural Skills** Team Leadership and Coordination / Execution Planning and Problem Solving / Communication and Negotiation
