**Experience:** 6-8 Years **Location:** Bangalore/Hybrid **Employment Type:** Full-Time **Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced Elasticsearch Developer with 6-8 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise search solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Elasticsearch, search relevance tuning, indexing strategies, query optimization, and distributed systems. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain scalable search solutions using Elasticsearch. - Build and optimize indexing pipelines for structured and unstructured data. - Develop advanced search capabilities including full-text search, faceted search, filtering, autocomplete, and relevancy tuning. - Monitor and improve search performance, cluster health, and query response times. - Configure and manage Elasticsearch clusters in production environments. - Implement data ingestion pipelines using Logstash, Beats, Kafka, or custom ETL processes. - Work closely with application development teams to integrate Elasticsearch APIs. - Perform capacity planning, cluster scaling, backup, and disaster recovery activities. - Troubleshoot indexing, mapping, shard allocation, and performance issues. - Ensure security, access control, and compliance across Elasticsearch deployments. **Required Skills** - 6-8 years of software development experience with at least 4+ years of Elasticsearch experience. - Strong expertise in Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, and the ELK Stack. - Experience with Elasticsearch cluster administration and performance tuning. - Strong understanding of: - Indexing strategies - Mappings and analyzers - Sharding and replication - Aggregations and Query DSL - Search relevance tuning - Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture. - Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or Node.js. - Experience with Kafka, Redis, or other messaging/caching platforms. - Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes.
