**Position:** Electrical Design Engineer / Lead Engineer - Electrical **Industry:** Automotive **Location:** Chennai (Project Location) **Experience:** 4 to 20 Years Job Summary We are seeking skilled Electrical Design Engineers with experience in industrial automation, control panel design, and electrical engineering solutions for automotive manufacturing projects. The candidate will be responsible for electrical system design, schematic creation, PLC/Drive integration, and supporting project execution from concept through commissioning. Key Responsibilities - Design and develop electrical control panels for industrial automation systems. - Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts using EPLAN Electric P8. - Develop and maintain electrical documentation, BOMs, cable schedules, and design standards. - Support PLC and Drive-based automation projects. - Coordinate with mechanical, controls, manufacturing, and commissioning teams. - Ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry standards. - Participate in design reviews, troubleshooting, and technical discussions. - Interface with suppliers and customers for technical clarifications. - Support installation, testing, commissioning, and issue resolution activities.
