**Location:** Bangalore / Hyderabad **Experience Range:** 4 to 10 years **Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced Embedded Engineer with strong expertise in **ECU design and development** for automotive applications. The role spans the complete ECU lifecycle, including **requirements analysis, software development, integration, validation, and release**, aligned with industry standards such as **ASPICE and ISO 26262**. The candidate will contribute to the development of **reliable, real-time embedded software** for automotive ECUs, including **Body, Powertrain, ADAS, and Battery Management Systems**. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop embedded software for automotive ECUs using C / Embedded C - Analyse requirements and support software design and architecture - Integrate software on ECU hardware and ensure proper functionality - Perform testing (unit, integration, system) and support debugging - Work with tools like CANoe/CANalyzer for validation and issue analysis - Ensure compliance with ASPICE, ISO 26262, and coding standards - Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support project deliverables - Prepare necessary technical documentation **Required Skills** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field - Strong programming skills in Embedded C / C - Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive domain - Knowledge of communication protocols: CAN, LIN, Ethernet - Experience in RTOS-based development - Hands-on experience with tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer - Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN - Proficiency in Japanese language is highly preferred **Good to Have Skills** - Understanding of microcontrollers (e.g., Infineon, NXP, Renesas) - Experience with AUTOSAR (Classic Platform preferred) - Experience in any one of the following domains: - Body Control Module (BCM) - Powertrain / Engine Control - Battery Management Systems (BMS) - ADAS / Autonomous systems - Exposure to ASPICE software lifecycle (SWE.3–SWE.5) and functional safety standards such as ISO 26262 is highly preferred. - Knowledge of automotive communication and security considerations is an added advantage.
