**Must Have Technical/Functional Skills** Empower, CDS, ELN, Java, SQL, **Roles & Responsibilities** **Position Overview** We are looking for a skilled **Empower Global CDS Specialist** to manage and support Waters Empower Chromatography Data Systems in a regulated laboratory environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in **Empower CDS (Global Deployment)** along with strong knowledge of laboratory workflows, system validation, and compliance requirements in pharma, biotech, or chemical industries. **Key Responsibilities** - Administer and support **Waters Empower Global CDS** environments across multiple sites - Perform system configuration, user management, and access control - Lead and execute **Computer System Validation (CSV)** activities including IQ, OQ, and PQ - Ensure compliance with **GxP regulations**, including **21 CFR Part 11** and data integrity standards - Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolution - Collaborate with lab users, QA/QC, and IT teams to gather requirements and implement enhancements - Manage system upgrades, patches, and global deployments - Support integration with other enterprise systems such as **LIMS, ELN, and ERP** - Create and maintain documentation including SOPs, validation protocols, and user guides - Conduct training sessions for end users and provide ongoing technical support - Drive continuous improvement initiatives in lab informatics systems **Preferred Qualifications** - Experience working in a **multi-site/global deployment environment** - Exposure to other lab systems like **LIMS, ELN, or SDMS** - Knowledge of **SQL, scripting, or system integrations (APIs)** - Certification in **Waters Empower CDS** - Background in **Chemistry, Life Sciences, or related field**
