Job description YOU'LL BE OUR: Developer - Digital Manufacturing & MES YOU'LL BE BASED AT: IBC Knowledge Park , Bangalore YOU'LL BE A MEMBER OF: Enterprise Software Team We are looking for a dynamic IIOT developer with 5-7 years of experience to join our team in building the future of EV manufacturing. You are a hands-on builder who thrives on solving technical puzzles and ensuring that data flows seamlessly from the factory floor to the cloud. Youll be responsible for the day-to-day configuration, testing, and optimization of our MES and IIoT platforms, ensuring our 2W EV production lines never miss a beat. WHAT YOU’LL DO AT ATHER: Configuration & Implementation • Execute the hands-on configuration and deployment of MES solutions through all phases of the project life cycle. • Build and maintain the "connectors" between the plant floor and IT systems using MQTT, OPC UA, and other industrial protocols. • Support the rollout of new production lines by ensuring MES logic and traceability are perfectly aligned with factory needs. Prototyping & Support • Participate in prototyping workshops to help test and pilot new manufacturing technologies and workflows. • Troubleshoot technical issues on the shop floor, providing rapid fixes to maintain production uptime and data integrity. • Assist in the deployment of AI/ML models and analytics tools designed to maximize factory efficiency. Team Synergy • Work under the guidance of the MES Architect and Senior Developer to deliver technical designs that meet scalability goals. • Document all system configurations and data models to ensure long-term maintainability of the digital ecosystem. • Support cross-functional teams (Operations, Engineering, IT) to ensure a smooth user experience for plant-floor operators. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: • 5-7 years of experience in Digital Manufacturing or Manufacturing IT roles. • Strong technical skills in configuring MES platforms and handling industrial data. • Knowledge of the ISA-95 framework and its application in a modern factory setting. • A "can-do" attitude and the ability to communicate effectively with both engineers and operators. • BE\\MS in Mechanical, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
