About the Role: Join CrowdStrike's internal SRE team as an Engineer III where you'll contribute to building and maintaining a robust, scalable, and highly reliable internal developer platform that empowers our engineering team to deliver high-quality software rapidly and efficiently. We are looking for talented and experienced Site Reliability Engineers (SRE) to join our team and play a critical role in enhancing automation, reliability, and observability of our service offerings. A strong candidate for this role will have advanced hands-on experience scaling and improving observability practices across engineering teams, with a strong software development background building observability solutions at scale. Additionally, a candidate should have a solid foundation in SRE principles and SLI/SLOs, and the ability to integrate AI-enabled capabilities into existing observability and operational workflows. You'll work alongside experienced engineers to implement automation solutions, support our development toolchain, and ensure system reliability. What You'll Do: • Build software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications • Support Crowdstrike’s primary CI/CD build tools • Building automation solutions for service deployment • Monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of system health • Improve reliability, quality, and serviceability of systems • Architectural design of highly available services at an enterprise scale • Interact with internal customers to understand needs and develop solutions • Championing the Incident Response and Production Readiness Review (PRR) for our organization • Gather and analyze metrics from both operating systems and applications to assist in performance tuning and root cause analysis • Resource, capacity, and license forecasting • Partner with and foster a mentorship mentality with other Engineers • Design, implement, and maintain full-stack observability (Datadog, Grafana stack, LogScale, Jaeger , New Relic, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus/Thanos, ect) to meet production reliability demands • Optimize for high-cardinality workloads and instrumentation standardization • Drive the transition to AI-native observability for proactive system  resilience and zero-toil operations • Automate alert correlation, anomaly detection, and root cause analysis through AIOps integration • Train internal AI models on runbooks and incident data to power self-healing frameworks • Uphold code quality and secure development standards (SonarQube, OWASP) across the engineering lifecycle • Actively audit SLI/SLO definitions and error budgets to reflect real user impact What You’ll Need: • On-Premise & Cloud expertise with deploying, scaling, and maintaining the following services: • CI/CD tools • Bazel, Github Actions, Jenkins • IaC Provisioning tools • Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt, Terraform • Source Code Management services • Bitbucket, Gitlab, Github • Monitoring and Observability tooling • Opensource Prometheus/Grafana, Datadog, Honeycomb, New Relic • Experience with deploying applications on Kubernetes at scale • 5+ years of experience working in a large-scale production environment. • Proven ability to work effectively with both local and remote teams • Must exhibit attention to detail, and have the ability to make good, timely decisions • Ability to make trade offs between short term and long term goals • Demonstrate self-learning capabilities, taking initiative in a fast pace/quickly changing environment. • Security first mindset, general unde
