**Job Area:** Engineering Group, Engineering Group > Software Engineering - Job Description Staff Engineer (Multimedia / Camera) - Strong **handson experience in Linux kernel driver development**, with deep understanding of kernel internals and device drivers. - Proven track record of **upstream Linux kernel contributions**, including **camera and multimedia subsystem upstreaming, Active participation in open source community discussions.** - Solid experience working with **opensource multimedia architectures** (V4L2, Media Controller, libcamera, etc.). - **Endtoend ownership** of features across the full product lifecycle from **presilicon enablement**, **bringup**, through **commercialization**, with **camera domain experience strongly preferred**. - Acts as a **technical lead**, driving **architecture and design decisions** for complex multimedia systems. - Experience leading and mentoring engineering teams (10+ engineers team), including task planning, technical guidance, and design reviews. - Demonstrated ability to **work directly with customers**, understand requirements, debug critical issues, and drive solutions to closure. - Experience in IoT segment **Minimum Qualifications:** Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. 2+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
