This role is essential for providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of our virtualized environments. **Responsibilities:** * Provide first-level support for VMware environments, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to virtual machines and infrastructure. * Assist in the deployment, configuration, and management of VMware solutions. * Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation of virtualized resources. * Collaborate with senior engineers to implement cloud solutions and best practices. * Document technical processes and maintain accurate records of support activities. * Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. * Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in VMware and cloud computing. **Mandatory Skills:** * Strong understanding of VMware technologies, including vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter. * Basic knowledge of cloud computing concepts and services. * Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. **Preferred Skills:** * Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. * Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation tasks. * Understanding of ITIL processes and best practices. * Experience with monitoring tools and performance management. **Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. * 1-3 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably with a focus on VMware and cloud technologies. * Relevant certifications (e.g., VMware Certified Professional - VCP) are a plus.
