Engineering Head - Investments & Release Management

Job description

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. - Drive end-to-end delivery of engineering projects, ensuring quality, scalability, security, and timely execution. - Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, DevOps, and Business teams to define technical roadmaps and project priorities. - Conduct sprint planning, resource allocation, and capacity planning to ensure optimal team productivity. - Review system architecture, technical designs, and code to maintain engineering best practices. - Establish coding standards, development processes, and quality assurance practices. - Monitor engineering metrics and continuously improve delivery efficiency and product reliability. - Manage hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, career development, and succession planning for the engineering team. - Identify technical risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks, and proactively implement mitigation strategies. - Drive adoption of Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation. - Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory requirements. - Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance product capabilities and engineering efficiency.
