Engineering Manager HVAC

Job description

To lead HVAC system design ensuring energy efficiency, sustainability, and compliance with ASHRAE, ISHRAE, and NBC standards while coordinating interdisciplinary design integration. **SECTION III: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACCOUNTABILITIES** * Lead HVAC system design including load estimation, duct routing, and equipment sizing. * Review system layouts, schematics, and controls for accuracy and optimization. * Coordinate with architecture and structure teams for space planning. * Conduct design validation and value engineering reviews. * Support site teams in installation, testing, and commissioning. * Mentor junior engineers and ensure adherence to design best practices. **SECTION IV: KEY INTERACTIONS** **Internal Stakeholder** **Purpose of Interaction** * Architecture, Structure, BIM Teams \| Coordination and clash management Site Execution and QA/QC Teams \| Design implementation and quality monitoring **External Stakeholder** **Purpose of Interaction** * Clients and Consultants \| Technical review and design approvals HVAC Vendors \| Equipment selection and performance validation **SECTION V: KNOWLEDGE \& EXPERIENCE** **KNOWLEDGE** **Minimum Qualifications** * B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical/Building Services Engineering **Language Skills** * Proficient in English and local language for on-site coordination **Experience** **Years of Experience** * 8--12 years **Nature of Ex.** * HVAC system design, simulation, and coordination experience for complex building projects using BIM and load calculation tools.. **SECTION VI: TECHNICAL \& LEADERSHIP / BEHAVIORAL SKILLS REQUIRED TO EXECUTE THE ROLE** **Skills** **Technical Skills** HVAC system design, simulation, and coordination experience for complex building projects using BIM and load calculation tools. **Leadership / Behavioural Skills**Team Leadership and Coordination / Execution Planning and Problem Solving / Communication and Negotiation
