**Minimum qualifications:** - Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience. - 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., C, C++, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript). - 3 years of experience in a people management and 2 years of experience in a technical leadership role. **Preferred qualifications:** - Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields. - 5 years of experience working in a complex organization. - Experience leading through technical and organizational complexity. - Experience with Java, C++, or both. - Passion for technology, collaboration, and solving challenging problems. **About The Job** Like Google's own ambitions, the work of a Software Engineer goes beyond just Search. Establish clear responsibility boundaries for people and teams . - Support the health of your team proactively (e.g. psychological safety, timely conflict resolution, openness, and collaboration) as well as your partner teams.
