Join us and redefine what’s next for you. **Enterprise Architect – DoP IT Modernization** **Job Summary** The Enterprise Architect is responsible for defining, governing, and maintaining the enterprise architecture for the DoP IT Modernization program. The role ensures alignment between business objectives, technology strategy, security, compliance, and business continuity requirements while providing architectural leadership across applications, platforms, infrastructure, and cloud environments. **What You Will Do** Business Architecture - Understand business objectives, processes, and stakeholder requirements. - Translate business needs into functional, non-functional, technical, and regulatory requirements. - Facilitate business requirement gathering workshops with stakeholders. - Ensure architecture aligns with organizational strategy and operational goals. Enterprise Architecture & Governance - Define enterprise architecture principles, standards, reference architectures, and documentation. - Develop architecture standards for: - Application Development - Deployment Models - Operations and Support - Drive technology and architectural decision-making throughout the solution lifecycle. - Maintain end-to-end architectural visibility across business processes, applications, infrastructure, cloud, and data centers. Technology Strategy - Drive adoption of emerging technologies aligned with the organization's IT roadmap. - Develop enterprise-level strategies covering: - Solution Architecture - Deployment Approaches - Data Protection and Backup - System and Application Integration - Infrastructure Monitoring - Security and Compliance - Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery - User Enablement and Training Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery - Ensure enterprise architecture supports BCP/DR objectives. - Provide architectural guidance for: - Recovery Time Objective (RTO) - Recovery Point Objective (RPO) - High Availability - Resilience and Failover Design - Data Recovery Mechanisms - Collaborate with BCP, Cloud, Infrastructure, and Application teams for disaster recovery planning and testing. Stakeholder Management - Communicate architecture strategy and recommendations to business stakeholders. - Participate in steering committee meetings. - Present: - Technology trends - Architecture recommendations - Risks and mitigation strategies - Solution alternatives - Provide executive-level architecture guidance for strategic initiatives.
