**Job Location: Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Kochi, Bhubaneswar** **Experience Range: 06 years to 12 years** **Skills and experience were looking for:** - Proven experience in BI platform deployment, maintenance, and performance tuning. - Strong knowledge of database administration, disaster recovery, and workload management. - Expertise in data security, including access controls and encryption. - Ability to translate business needs into scalable data models and efficient processes. - Experience with AWS/Azure, Snowflake, and BI tooling monitoring. **Tools and Technologies:** - BI Tools Business Objects, Qlik Sense, Power BI (preferred) - Infrastructure AWS Services, Terraform, PowerShell - Design and Architecture of Infrastructure, BI tools **Responsibilities or Expectations from the Role:** - Provide strategic technical leadership and hands-on expertise across the full lifecycle of complex BI solutions. - Oversee BI platform deployment, performance tuning, and ongoing maintenance activities. - Manage AMI refreshes, tooling upgrades, and database administration to ensure optimal system performance and reliability. - Design and implement robust monitoring and reporting frameworks. - Manage data gateways and data connections across BI platforms. - Enforce enterprise-grade security measures aligned with Aviva's data sensitivity standards. - Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements. - Translate business and technical requirements into scalable data models and efficient processes. - Provide accurate resource estimates and cost estimates for BI platform initiatives and projects. - Champion best practices in data modelling, database design, and architectural governance. - Maximize the value and effectiveness of the BI platform through continuous improvement and optimization. - Guide the development and optimization of the enterprise BI platform. - Work collaboratively within a team that supports data-driven decision-making across the business. - Ensure BI systems are secure, scalable, and high-performing. - Partner with multiple teams to deliver robust BI solutions that meet evolving business needs. - Provide leadership that helps shape the future direction of the BI platform and BI capabilities within the organization. - Lead BI platform deployment, maintenance, and performance tuning activities. - Support database administration, disaster recovery planning, and workload management. - Implement and maintain data security controls, including access controls and encryption mechanisms. - Develop scalable data models and efficient business processes aligned with organizational requirements. - Support and monitor BI tooling environments, including AWS/Azure, Snowflake, and BI platforms. - Contribute to the design and architecture of BI tools and supporting infrastructure. - Utilize infrastructure technologies such as AWS Services, Terraform, and PowerShell to support and automate BI platform operations.
