Job Description: Construction Safety Engineer **Position:** Construction Safety Engineer **Location:** Jaipur, Rajasthan **Business Unit:** Project & Development Services (PDS) **Experience:** 5-10 Years **Employment Type:** Full-Time Job Summary We are looking for a qualified and proactive **Construction Safety Engineer** to oversee Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) compliance across construction projects in Jaipur. The role involves implementing safety programs, conducting risk assessments, ensuring statutory compliance, and promoting a strong safety culture at project sites. Key Responsibilities - Develop, implement, and monitor site-specific HSE plans and safety procedures. - Conduct safety inspections, audits, and hazard identification exercises. - Ensure compliance with local statutory regulations, client requirements, and company safety standards. - Review Method Statements (MS), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Risk Assessments (RA), and Permit-to-Work systems. - Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and recommend corrective actions. - Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training programs for site personnel. - Monitor use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and enforce safety compliance. - Coordinate emergency preparedness drills and response activities. - Maintain HSE records, reports, and statutory documentation. - Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, and regulatory authorities on safety matters. - Support project teams in achieving zero accident and injury objectives. Required Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline). - Full-time Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety, Construction Safety, or HSE Management. - Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent preferred. Experience - 5-10 years of experience in construction safety management. - Experience in commercial buildings, industrial, data center, warehouse, infrastructure, or high-rise projects preferred. - Proven experience in managing contractor safety compliance on construction sites.
