**Equity RFP Writer** **Location:** Pune, India **Experience:** 3–5 Years Preferred **The Opportunity** We are seeking a skilled **RFP Writer** to join our global Request for Proposal (RFP) team. In this role, you will be a critical driver of business development and client service, specializing in the creation of high-impact RFPs, RFIs, and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) for our **Equity Investment Strategies**. This position offers deep exposure to the entire institutional and retail business development lifecycle—from initial opportunity screening and project management to the creation of technical investment content and final follow-up. You will act as a strategic bridge between our investment teams and global sales channels. **Core Responsibilities** **1. Technical Writing & Content Creation** - **Proposal Development:** Write and manage a high volume of RFPs and RFIs for global institutional and retail channels, focusing on Equity strategies. - **Investment Narrative:** Create and maintain original content regarding investment philosophies, research processes, team structures, and competitive advantages. - **Customization:** Tailor technical product language to reflect nuanced, targeted responses for specific sales opportunities and client mandates. - **Database Management:** Ensure product messaging is consistent and updated within the firm’s RFP content database. **2. Stakeholder Collaboration** - **Investment Partnership:** Liaise directly with Portfolio Managers, Product Managers, Research Analysts, and Traders to develop new investment language and validate technical data. - **Cross-Functional Coordination:** Partner with Legal, Operations, Performance, and AUM Reporting teams to gather accurate data for comprehensive client responses. - **Client Response Support:** Field ad-hoc technical questions from global Client Response Centers and sales teams. **3. Project Management & Production** - **End-to-End Oversight:** Manage multiple concurrent projects under strict deadlines, incorporating necessary review cycles and quality controls. - **Quality Assurance:** Oversee the final production of proposals, ensuring high standards in formatting, technical editing, and professional presentation. - **Follow-up:** Coordinate additional information requests and follow-up work for proposals moving to advanced stages of the sales cycle. **Qualifications & Skills** **Professional Experience** - **Industry Knowledge:** Solid understanding of the **Equity asset class** and the broader asset management industry. - **Background:** 3–5 years of RFP or investment writing experience preferred. Direct experience with Equity-specific content is a significant advantage. - **Education:** College degree required. **Technical & Soft Skills** - **Communication Mastery:** Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate complex investment concepts into persuasive prose. - **Organizational Excellence:** Strong project management skills with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and work under significant time constraints. - **Interpersonal Agility:** Ability to interact effectively with senior investment professionals and global sales advisors. - **Systems Proficiency:** Expert in Microsoft Word; ability to quickly master internal databases and proposal management software. **Why This Role?** This is a high-visibility role within a leading global investment firm that rewards intellectual curiosity and disciplined execution.
