Job Title: ESSBASE Techno Functional Consultant Experience: 8+ years of experience Job location: Bangalore / Chennai Position ID: J0626-2578 Work Type: Hybrid Employment Type: Full Time / Permanent Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Main contact for a TOTAL business unit; working directly with operational teams. Able to identify business needs, analyze them, and deliver functional and technical solutions independently. Business Skills - General understanding of budgeting and reporting processes - Solid knowledge of cost allocation mechanisms - Ability to navigate data models using Ad Hoc analyses in Smart View to identify likely causes of discrepancies - Able to support the client during the budgeting phase and in management reporting ESSBASE Application Skills - Creation of an application/cube in ESSBASE - Design, creation, and management of the data model: outline repository administration via the web interface and cube designer in Smart View - Dimension building using rules - Data loading using rules in ESSBASE - Management of substitution variables and prompts - Creation of simple calculation scripts: aggregation, data clearing, scenario initialization, data copying between scenarios, member formulas - Creation of complex calculation scripts: specific business needs, cost allocation rules - Security management in ESSBASE Soft Skills (if possible) Able to lead or contribute to training sessions for financial stakeholders on ESSBASE 21C and other solutions within the application landscape Required Skills: . SQL / PL SQL . ODI . Oracle . Essbase skills are not the top priority. Good skill knowledge in ODI, advanced SQL, and OAS (analytical/reporting layer). CGI is an equal opportunity employer.
