ETL Tester Job Title ETL Tester / Data Warehouse Tester Experience 4 to 10 Years Job Summary We are looking for an experienced ETL Tester to validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes across enterprise data warehouse platforms. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity while testing ETL workflows, databases, and reporting systems. Key Responsibilities - Analyze business requirements, source-to-target mappings, and ETL design documents. - Create and execute ETL test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts. - Validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes. - Perform source-to-target data validation and reconciliation. - Conduct database testing using SQL queries. - Identify, log, track, and retest defects through closure. - Validate data quality, data integrity, and data consistency. - Execute regression, integration, system, and UAT support testing. - Collaborate with ETL developers, business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders. - Validate data warehouse and reporting data against business requirements. - Prepare test execution reports and testing metrics. Required Skills Technical Skills - Strong experience in ETL Testing and Data Warehouse Testing. - Proficiency in SQL for complex queries, joins, subqueries, and data validation. - Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, DataStage, SSIS, AWS Glue, or Azure Data Factory. - Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts, Star Schema, and Snowflake Schema. - Experience in source-to-target mapping validation. - Knowledge of database systems like Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Teradata. - Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps. - Understanding of data migration and data quality testing. Preferred Skills - Experience in Big Data testing (Hadoop, Hive, Spark). - Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Knowledge of automation testing tools and scripting. - Familiarity with CI/CD processes and DevOps practices. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. - Relevant experience in ETL/Data Warehouse Testing.
