ETL Test Engineer

**Job Summary** We are seeking a skilled ETL Testing Engineer with 3 to 8 years of experience in data warehouse and ETL testing. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in ETL Testing, SQL, and any Cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP). The candidate will be responsible for validating data pipelines, ensuring data integrity, and supporting end-to-end testing across data platforms. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, develop, and execute test cases for ETL/Data Warehouse projects. - Validate data transformations, data mappings, and business rules. - Perform source-to-target data validation and reconciliation. - Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data verification. - Ensure data quality, accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems. - Conduct functional, regression, integration, and UAT support testing. - Analyze ETL workflows, identify defects, and coordinate resolution with development teams. - Validate data ingestion and processing workflows in cloud environments. - Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to test planning and estimation. - Create detailed test reports and maintain testing documentation. **Required Skills** - 3 to 8 years of experience in ETL Testing and Data Warehouse Testing. - Strong hands-on experience with SQL (complex queries, joins, subqueries, aggregations). - Experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Understanding of ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, DataStage, SSIS, ADF, or similar. - Experience in source-to-target validation and data quality testing. - Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies. - Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar. **Preferred Skills** - Experience with cloud-based data services (Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Databricks, Big Query, Synapse, Redshift, Snowflake, etc.). - Exposure to test automation frameworks. - Knowledge of Python or scripting for test automation is a plus. - Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. **Educational Qualification** - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
