In this role, youll help ensure that critical business decisions are powered by accurate, reliable, and well-validated data. Youll work closely with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to test ETL pipelines and data warehouse layers end-to-endspotting issues early, validating transformations, and strengthening trust in reporting and analytics. If you enjoy digging into data, asking the right questions, and building practical test strategies that prevent defects from reaching production, youll feel right at home. Youll also contribute to improving testing efficiency through better test design, reusable validation approaches, and clear defect communicationsupporting a collaborative culture focused on continuous improvement and shared ownership of data outcomes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform ETL testing across source-to-target data flows, validating extraction, transformation rules, and load completeness. **•** Execute DWH testing for staging, dimensional, and fact tables, ensuring data integrity, reconciliation, and consistency across layers. **•** Create and maintain test scenarios, test cases, and test data aligned to business rules and data models. **•** Validate data accuracy using SQL-based checks, including counts, aggregates, duplicates, null checks, referential integrity, and boundary conditions. **•** Perform end-to-end data validation for scheduled/batch loads, incremental loads, and historical backfills where applicable. **•** Identify, log, and track defects with clear evidence, root-cause hints, and impact analysis; collaborate with engineering teams for resolution. **•** Support regression testing for ETL/DWH changes and ensure stable releases through structured test execution and sign-off. **•** Document test results and provide concise status updates to stakeholders, highlighting risks and data quality trends. **Minimum Qualifications:** - Engineering degree or equivalent educational background. **•** 310 years of experience in ETL testing with strong hands-on involvement in validating data pipelines and transformations. **•** 3–10 years of experience in DWH testing, including validation of warehouse structures and data reconciliation across layers. **•** Strong understanding of data validation techniques and ability to translate business rules into effective test coverage. **•** Experience creating test cases, executing test cycles, and managing defects through to closure.
