We focus on innovation, quality, and sustainability to deliver world-class sleep products. **Position Details** **Designation:** Design Documentation Executive **Location:** Hosur, Tamil Nadu **Experience Required:** 36 Years **Work Mode:** Work from Office **Working Days:** 5 Days a Week **Industry Preference:** Manufacturing / Consumer Durables / Furniture **Preferred Gender:** Male Candidates **Joining Preference:** Immediate Joiners **Travel Requirement:** Flexible for vendor visits, factory reviews, and prototype validations **Role Overview** The Design Documentation Executive will be responsible for converting design concepts and requirements into physical product samples by coordinating with category teams, prototyping teams, and manufacturing functions. The role involves managing end-to-end design documentation, BOM creation, prototype development, validation, and ensuring product feasibility aligned with business requirements. **Key Responsibilities** - Understand design requirements from the Category Team and convert them into physical prototypes through the prototype team. - Create and maintain detailed product documentation including: - Bill of Materials (BOM) - Product drawings - Technical specifications - Design records - Support prototype development, testing, and product iterations to ensure design accuracy and manufacturability. - Collaborate with sourcing, quality, production, and engineering teams for technical feasibility. - Ensure product designs meet quality standards and manufacturing requirements. - Maintain complete documentation of design changes, approvals, and development stages. - Coordinate with category and marketing teams for product launches and design refresh initiatives. - Participate in vendor meetings, factory reviews, and prototype validation activities. **Required Qualifications Skills** - Bachelors degree in Design, Product Development, Engineering, or a related field. - 36 years of relevant experience in: - Furniture manufacturing - Consumer durables - Product development - Design documentation - Strong understanding of product design and category management. - Knowledge of BOM preparation, drawings, and technical documentation. - Proficiency in MS Office. - Exposure to PLM/ERP tools will be an added advantage. - Strong coordination, communication, and analytical skills. **Preferred Experience** - Experience in furniture or allied manufacturing industries. - Hands-on exposure to product lifecycle management. - Experience working with prototype development and cross-functional teams. **Why Join Duroflex** Join Duroflex and be part of a design-driven, innovative environment where you can contribute to developing high-quality sleep solutions and impactful products for customers.
