Location: Morbi, GJ, IN Areas of Work: Home Improvement Job Id: 15361 **External Job Description** **Job Purpose -** To ensure uninterrupted availability of sanitaryware products by managing procurement, supplier relationships, inventory planning, cost optimization, quality compliance, and supply chain risk mitigation while supporting business growth and customer service targets **Business Responsibility Areas** **Business objectives** - Procurement & Sourcing - Material procurement execution as per planning for sanitaryware products and components. - Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers. - Negotiate pricing, lead times, and commercial agreements. - Ensure timely placement of purchase orders based on demand and inventory requirements. - Supplier Management - Monitor supplier performance on delivery, quality, cost, and service. - Conduct periodic supplier reviews and performance evaluations. - Maintain strong relationships with domestic and international vendors **Quality & Compliance** - Ensure procured products meet company quality standards and regulatory requirements. - Coordinate with Quality teams for inspections, audits, and complaint resolutions. **Cost Optimization** - Drive cost reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing and value engineering. - Monitor commodity and market trends impacting procurement costs. - Improve procurement efficiency and working capital management. **New Product and Current Product Development** - Identify and develop capable suppliers for new sanitaryware products, accessories, and components. - Monitor development timelines and proactively address sourcing or supply risks to meet launch schedules. Support value engineering and cost optimization during product development stages
