Job description

**Role & responsibilities** - Attend and troubleshoot electrical breakdowns to minimize equipment downtime. - Execute preventive maintenance of motors, panels, VFDs, transformers, and utility equipment as per schedule. - Maintain and troubleshoot HMI systems, ensuring smooth machine operation and parameter control. - Monitor and support SCADA systems, including alarms, trends, communication, and data logging. - Perform electrical maintenance of manufacturing, packaging, and utility equipment. - Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring equipment failures and implement corrective actions. - Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, LOTO, and regulatory requirements in all maintenance activities. - Maintain electrical documentation, PM records, breakdown reports, and equipment history. - Coordinate with production, engineering, and vendors for maintenance, modifications, and projects. - Monitor spare parts availability, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance. **Preferred candidate profile** - Diploma/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field. - 3 to 8 years of experience in electrical maintenance within pharmaceutical, FMCG, or manufacturing industries. - Hands-on experience in breakdown and preventive maintenance of production and utility equipment. - Good knowledge of PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems, including troubleshooting and fault diagnosis. - Experience with VFDs, motors, control panels, MCCs, PCCs, transformers, and DG sets. - Familiarity with GMP, EHS, LOTO, and pharmaceutical compliance requirements. - Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and problem-solving skills. - Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and control circuits. - Proficiency in maintenance documentation, SAP/CMMS, and report preparation. - Good communication, teamwork, and coordination skills with production and cross-functional teams.
