**Group Company:** Galaxy Surfactants Limited (GSL) **Designation:** Executive **Office Location:** Jhagadia **Position description:** - Strong knowledge of civil construction activities includingfoundations, RCC structures, structural steel supports, buildings, roads,drains, and underground utilities. - Experience in project planning, execution, contractormanagement, and site supervision. - Ability to review civil drawings, BOQs, specifications, andconstruction methodologies. - Proficiency in quantity estimation, billing verification,and cost control. - Working knowledge of relevant IS codes, construction qualitystandards, and HSE requirements. - Experience in coordinating with mechanical, electrical,instrumentation, and process teams for project execution. - Ability to monitor project schedules, track progress, andensure timely completion of activities. - Strong understanding of quality control procedures, materialinspection, and testing requirements. - Capable of managing multiple contractors and ensuringcompliance with safety, quality, and project objectives. - Ensure compliance with all site safety standards, statutoryregulations, and company HSE policies. - Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of civilconstruction activities, identifying and addressing unsafe conditions andpractices. - Ensure contractors and workers follow safe work procedures,permit-to-work requirements, and PPE compliance. - Monitor high-risk activities such as excavation, working atheight, lifting operations, scaffolding, confined space entry, and concretepouring works. - Participate in Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Risk Assessments,and Toolbox Talks before commencement of critical activities. - Support achievement of project goals with a Zero Harm, ZeroAccident approach while ensuring safe and timely execution of civil works. - **Educational qualifications preferred :** C ivil engineering - **Required work experience:** 710 years - **Required skills:** - Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, andMicrosoft Project software Excellent communication, stakeholder management, andproblem-solving skills.
