Export Coordinator

Job description

Role & responsibilities • End-to-end export operations for Ethiopia, Mexico, Kenya, South Africa, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Botswana, and France. • Container planning, shipment forecasting, and coordination with freight forwarders for advance bookings. • Freight procurement, including RFQs, commercial negotiations, and carrier finalization. • Coordination with Manufacturing Units, QA/QC, CHA, Transporters, Freight Forwarders, Banks, and overseas customers to ensure smooth shipment execution. • Preparation and verification of export documentation, including Shipping Instructions, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, BL/AWB approvals, Certificates of Origin, Insurance documents, and Letter of Credit (LC) documentation. • Submission of export documents to banks for realization of export proceeds. • Coordination of SGS pre-shipment inspections for Kenya export consignments. • Maintenance of shipment MIS, export registers, Ethiopia LC Tracker, FIRC Payment Tracker, Daily Shipment Tracking Report, and other compliance records. • Timely submission of freight bills to the Accounts Department after vessel sailing.
