Job description

We are looking for a **Senior Microsoft Fabric Platform Engineer** with strong experience in the Microsoft data ecosystem to manage and scale our Fabric platform. This role focuses on **platform administration, data engineering support, governance, and automation** , while also driving innovation using new Fabric capabilities. **Key Responsibilities** **1. Platform Administration** - Manage Fabric **workspaces, capacities, and access controls** - Monitor platform **usage, performance, and optimize capacity** - Ensure **security, governance, and compliance** standards are followed **2. Data Engineering Support** - Support Fabric workloads such as **Lakehouse, pipelines, and integrations** - Troubleshoot issues and improve **performance of data pipelines** - Use **Python** for scripting and automation **3. Reporting & Insights** - Create **Power BI / Fabric reports** for usage and performance - Share insights with leadership on **platform health and adoption** **4. Innovation** - Work on **POCs for new Fabric features** - Recommend improvements and best practices as the platform evolves **Required Skills & Experience** - **10+ years’ experience in data stack starting career with any ETL tool (SSIS, SQL, Informatica and then moving to Azure Landscape (Azure, SQL, Power BI, ADF/SSIS) – *TSC team has to look into this in all profiles*** - Strong experience in **Microsoft Fabric (1–3 years hands-on) in last projects** - Experience in: - **Azure platform services (ADLS, Azure SQL)** - **Power BI (datasets, dashboards, capacity management)** - **Python** - **Preferred Location: Noida, Mumbai, Pune** - **Grade: 5B** - **Role Requirements: 2** **Good to Have** - Experience with **Fabric capacity planning and FinOps** - Knowledge of **Fabric APIs, CI/CD, DevOps** - Familiarity with **data governance tools (e.g., Purview)**
