About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented **Compliance & Payroll** who will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing, statutory compliance, employee records, and timely filings. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Indian payroll laws and statutory regulations, with hands-on experience in PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, and other labour compliances. Key Responsibilities **Payroll Management** - Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing for employees. - Ensure accurate calculation of salary, deductions, incentives, arrears, reimbursements, and full & final settlements. - Process new joiners, exits, salary revisions, promotions, and other payroll changes. - Validate attendance, leave, LOP, and payroll inputs before processing. - Prepare payroll reports, salary registers, bank transfer files, and payroll MIS. - Handle employee payroll-related queries and resolve discrepancies within defined timelines. **Statutory Compliance** - Ensure timely and accurate compliance under **PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund,** , and other applicable statutory requirements. - Manage monthly/quarterly statutory returns, challans, and payments. - Coordinate with external consultants, auditors, and government authorities wherever required. - Maintain proper records and documentation for statutory audits and inspections. - Track changes in labour laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements and ensure necessary implementation. **Compliance & Audit** - Maintain compliance calendars and ensure zero missed deadlines. - Conduct regular reconciliation of payroll with PF, ESIC, TDS, and accounting records. - Support internal and external audits. - Identify compliance gaps and ensure timely corrective actions. - Maintain employee and statutory records in accordance with company requirements. Required Skills & Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in **Commerce, Finance, HR, or a related field**. - Strong knowledge of **PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, TDS, and Indian labour laws**. - Good understanding of payroll calculations and statutory deductions. - Strong Excel skills, including **VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, and data reconciliation**. - Experience working with HRMS/payroll software. - Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy. - Good communication and stakeholder-management skills. - Ability to manage confidential employee and payroll information.
