The NielsenIQ Finance Business Partner (FBP) plays a critical leadership role in the Commercial organization.  FBP’s are key members of the regional, functional and global leadership teams, and play a unique role in driving clarity, transparency, actions and performance improvement in all areas of value creation.  As a senior finance leader at NIQ, your accountabilities span both strategic and executional management, and require excellence in collaboration, influencing and team building.  Senior finance leaders role-model critical behaviors on behalf of the whole business.   Job Description • Provide senior level finance business partnering support for the WEU Nordics cluster and WEU Regional Retailer Vertical. Finance business partnering key accountabilities:• Driving performance• Lead financial performance management & reporting, ensuring clear, accurate timely reporting (forecasts, actuals, OP, 3YP) • Provide fact-based, actionable insights to drive value creation across the entire business • Drive a transparent, clear narrative on performance drivers, execution requirements, risks and ops etc. • Lead continuous improvement in reporting, forecasting and planning to drive simplification and standardization • Partner closely with regional FP&A to drive clarity, simplicity & speed in all financial reporting and planning • Leading the development of the periodic forecasts, collaborating with various departments to gather input and ensure alignment with strategic goals • Building and maintaining financial models to analyze different scenarios, assess business performance and make informed decisions • Conducting in-depth analysis of financial and operational performance, identifying trends, key performance indicators (KPI) and areas for improvement   • • Strategy development & execution• Partner with commercial leaders to develop a world-class commercial strategy & supporting 3-year plan (3YP) • Drive execution of the strategy – develop, manage performance, communicate & cascade and proactively course-correct • Partner with key stakeholders to embed commercial strategic direction into key processes and ways of working • Providing financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision making, such as investments, cost optimization and resource allocation • Controls & Governance• Actively partner with other finance teams to create & maintain an environment of strong internal controls, good governance and efficient financial processes   • Leadership and team management key accountabilities:• Talent development• Recruit and retain a team of engaged capable finance professionals • Ensure clarity in ‘what’s expected’ – role definition, performance, development • Drive a growth mindset and performance culture among the team • Focus on personal and professional development throughout the down-line • Leadership• Role-model critical leadership behaviors, in particular – collaboration, active listening, managerial courage, standing alone, powerful influencing • Leverage the matrixed organization to drive alignment and clarity • Actively enroll and manage all internal and external stakeholders, and make use of subject-matter experts • Develop financial acumen in others • Bachelor/Master degree in Accounting, Finance or related field  • Fluency in English • Qualified finance professional, with 8+ years of finance leadership experience • Experienced in managing critical senior level stakeholders across various functions • Demonstrated ability to manage complex problem solving and ‘structure white space’ to bring clarity and transparency • Able to handle diverse agenda that spans outside of core finance, in order to be able to provide a ‘total business’ perspective Additional Information Desired Characteristics: • Able to thrive in a deadline driven, fast-paced environment • Ability to manage team well • Experience working in a multi-national corporation and a matrixed organization • Outstanding analytical abilities, strong interpersonal skills, and an ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels in the organization • Excellent team player and ability to take ownership of tasks/projects • Highly skilled at problem solving • Experienced in using data insights to help drive decision-making and influencing stakeholders • Expert in MS Office Tools – MS Excel and PowerPoint • Knowledge of CRM systems such as Salesforce/MS Dynamics • Comfortable in using BI tools and large datasets for financial modeling • Professional written/verbal English communication skills   Our Benefits • Flexible working environment • Volunteer time off • LinkedIn Learning • Employee-Assistance-Program (EAP) NIQ may utilize artificial intelligence (AI) tools at various stages of the recruitment process, including résumé screening, candidate assessments, interview scheduling, job matching, communication support, and certain administrative tasks that help streamline workflows.
