Job Title: DC Commercial Executive **Role Purpose** To manage the commercial and financial operations of Distribution Centres (DCs), ensuring effective cost control, budget adherence, and commercial compliance while supporting operational efficiency. **About Vishal Mega Mart Limited** **Vishal Mega Mart Ltd.** is 20 years old Indias leading Fashion led hypermarket with 800+ stores spread across India**. Vishal also delivers excellent quality products in fashion, food & grocery and general merchandise at great value through its exclusive brands available only at Vishal. **Key Responsibilities** - Monitor and control depot operating costs against budgets. - Track key cost drivers such as manpower, transportation, rentals, utilities, security, housekeeping, and other warehouse expenses. - Conduct variance analysis and identify opportunities for cost optimization. - Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and financial controls. - Coordinate with Operations, Procurement, Finance, and vendors for issue resolution and smooth commercial processes. - Prepare periodic MIS reports and dashboards on depot costs and performance. - Support monthly closing activities, accruals, and budget/forecast exercises. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance commercial efficiency and governance. - Assist in commercial negotiations where required **Qualifications** - Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration - MBA (Finance) / CA / CMA preferred - 3–6 years of experience in commercial finance, warehouse finance, supply chain finance, or depot operations. - Experience in retail, FMCG, e-commerce, logistics, or warehousing will be an added advantage **Key Skills** - Strong commercial and financial acumen. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills – Excel Skills mandator - Good understanding of budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle or equivalent).
