This is a dynamic, high-impact role that blends FP&A, business partnering, data analytics, and automation giving you the opportunity to work across a broad spectrum of finance activities while driving meaningful improvements in how data is used to support strategic decisions. **Key Responsibilities** - Maintain and enhance the existing finance data model, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and scalability - Support monthly and quarterly projection and reporting cycles, delivering timely and high-quality outputs - Perform variance analysis to identify and communicate key business drivers impacting financial performance - Partner with stakeholders across Product, Sales, Operations, and Finance to provide actionable, data-driven insights - Support the Annual Planning process for the division, coordinating inputs and ensuring alignment across teams - Translate complex financial and operational data into clear, concise recommendations for senior decision-makers - Build and maintain dashboards, automated reports, and analytical tools that improve reporting efficiency - Improve data quality, reporting consistency, and governance processes across the finance function - Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and automate manual processes, driving continuous improvement - Support IFRS 15 contract assessments, revenue analysis, and related finance processes - Contribute to audit, risk, and control activities as required, ensuring compliance and robust financial governance **About the Team** The RDS Data, Automation & Reporting team is based in Bangalore and plays a central role in managing reporting and planning data infrastructure, modelling, and analytics. Acting as a key partner to the global RDS Finance team, the team operates as a unified finance function supporting the RDS Management Team with high-quality insights, planning support, and financial decision-making. This is a collaborative, forward-thinking team that values curiosity, innovation, and a continuous improvement mindset. **About You** You are an analytically minded finance professional who is equally comfortable working with numbers and engaging with stakeholders. We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements: - 35 years of experience in FP&A, business finance, controlling, analytics, or related roles - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field - Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with demonstrated ability to build complex financial models and executive-level presentations - Proficiency in SQL, Python, PySpark or similar analytical tools, with the ability to work with large datasets and build scalable analytical solutions - Hands-on experience with Palantir / Stargate applications preferred, with the ability to navigate and leverage these platforms for financial reporting and analytics These are additional nice to haves: - Experience in data model building and maintenance, with an understanding of data architecture and governance best practices - Familiarity with SaaS or fee-based business models, and an understanding of the financial dynamics of technology-driven businesses - Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau, with the ability to design intuitive, insight-driven dashboards - Exposure to automation, data pipelines, or self-service analytics, and a track record of driving process improvements - Strong understanding of, or demonstrated motivation to develop expertise in, financial performance drivers and planning processes, including IFRS 15 or comparable revenue recognition frameworks - Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences - Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on automation, efficiency, and innovation Disclaimer: This job posting has been aggregated from external source.
