To achieve this, employees at ICICI Bank are expected to be **role and location-fungible** with the understanding that **Banking is an essential service** .The role descriptions give you an overview of the responsibilities, it is only directional and guiding in nature. **About the role** A Financial Crime Prevention Manager for Special Investigation Unit is responsible for operating in accordance with defined investigations methodology and in close collaboration with business partners across the Bank and with external agencies (e.g. Legal and law enforcement). **Key Responsibilities** **Investigation:** Conduct investigation in a time bound manner into suspected fraudulent transactions/loans, customer complaints etc or other irregularities is a key requirement in this role. Gather and analyse evidence, interview the witness and the suspected employees/ relevant persons and document the said findings. Identify potential areas of process improvement/vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions etc. **Compliance:** Ensure adherence to banking regulations, laws and other statutory bodies. Stay abreast of the changes in the regulatory framework (RBI master circular etc). Conduct workshops and training sessions with our internal & external stakeholders to create a better understanding among them about the investigation of Bank frauds. **Collaboration:** Collaborate with our internal & external stakeholders and recommend appropriate actioning. To ensure representation to the Law enforcement agencies in against cases to safeguard the interest of employees at large. **Confidentiality:** Managing confidentiality and handling sensitive information is a key to this role **Qualifications & Skills** **Educational Qualification:** Graduate (Bachelor Degree in Finance, Banking, Information Technology, Computer Science) and related field will be given preference **Experience:** Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role/ bank. The ideal candidate should have strong communication, analytical and investigative skills. Prior knowledge of banking regulations and laws is a plus. **About the Business Group** Financial Crime Prevention Group (FCPG) is a dedicated team set up to combat fraud. Objective of the team is to manage fraud risk thereby managing reputation risk of the bank. The unit implements preventive measures by understanding the entire life cycle of the product and identifying existence of risk at various stages. The Special Investigation Unit (SIU) team within FCPG is targeted towards staff investigations and ensures internal vigilance.
