Role and Responsibility of Fire and Safety officer JD Safety & Fire officer / HSE officer Monitoring the compliances of Environment, Health & Safety related statutory requirements and internal EHS standards. Waste water analysis COD, BOD, TDS, TSS etc.¬ Imparting awareness training to staff¬ & Workers on, Energy conservation practices, and Contractors safety. Investigation of accidents and incidents to minimize recurrence.¬ Performing the job hazard analysis.¬ Successful handling of E.T.P, S.T,P¬ & softening plant Safety Audits, Job Safety Analysis, Hazard Identification¬ & Risk Assessment. Conducting Fire Fighting, Emergency Preparedness and other Safety Training Programs to aware employees.¬Specialties: Handle effluent treatment plant successfully ( physical, chemical & biological) Interacting with Maharashtra Pollution Control Board: MPCB for maintaining ETP, STP, Hazardous Waste and other Environmental parameters according to norms.Successful handling of E.T.P, S.T,P & softening plant.Planning, Scheduling & Execution of all action to create Safe Working EnvironmentImplementation of Indian Standards/Factories Act for EHS, Relevant to Textile Industries.Safety Audits, Job Safety Analysis, Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment.Conducting Fire Fighting, Emergency Preparedness and other Safety Training Programs to aware employees.Accident Data Analysis, MSDS Analysis.Monitoring the compliances of Environment, Health & Safety related statutory requirements and internal EHS standards. Required Candidate profile Essential QualificationsBSc /MSc, chemistry with Diploma in industrial safety Essential Experience Monitor the job activity at the site to ensure safety compliance. · Maintaining records of work permits, checklists. · Co-ordinates with site in charge and contactors on Safety matters. · Co-ordinate with all depts. on safety matters. · Conducts initial safety induction for all workers. · Conducts and carries out incident/accident investigations with work supervisors and submit the relevant reports. · Maintain a good housekeeping and safe practices. · Shall participate in safety Tool Box talk. · Coordinated with site engineer to identify and resolve various safety issues. · Monitoring safe operation of all work. · Maintaining records of work permits, checklists. · Conducting Safety Training /TOOL BOX TALK at regular basis. · Implementation of management safety policies, Barricades, Sign boards, P.P.E., etc. · Responsible to provide safety materials and relevant documents like site safety hand books, posters, forms etc. · Ensuring safe access to all the employees. · Scaffold safety. · Implementing Electrical safety, Hot work Safety Etc. · First aid and emergency proceeding. · Keeping work environment safe and proper housekeeping. · Conduct random on-site safety inspections and report. · Coordinated with site engineer to identify and resolve various safety issues.
