Key Responsibilities • Develop, model, and validate flight control laws for aerospace and avionics systems. • Derive and manage system requirements, architecture, and interface specifications. • Perform control system modeling, simulation, gain tuning, and stability analysis using industry-standard tools. • Develop and execute system, integration, verification, and validation test procedures, including SIL, HIL, and flight test support. • Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and optimize control law performance. • Support certification activities in compliance with DO-178C, ARP4754A, and ARP4761 standards. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, customers, and suppliers to ensure successful project execution. Qualifications • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Control Systems, or a related engineering discipline. • 3-5+ years of experience in flight control systems development and verification. • Strong experience in system requirements development, control law design, modeling, simulation, gain tuning, and system integration. • Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and other control system development tools. • Hands-on experience with SIL, HIL, and flight test data analysis. • Familiarity with aerospace development and certification standards such as DO-178C, ARP4754A, and ARP4761. • Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS) and MBSE methodologies is preferred. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred • Experience in aerospace and defense programs. • Knowledge of autonomous/UAV/eVTOL flight control systems. • Exposure to avionics cybersecurity and advanced flight control technologies.
