The ideal candidate will have strong avionics software development experience, mandatory hands-on experience in Flight Management Systems, and expertise in developing safety-critical software in a DevOps environment. The role requires ownership of product quality, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and a mindset focused on delivering optimized and efficient solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, integrate, and verify safety-critical FMS software. - Work in a DevOps environment, contributing to CI/CD and continuous improvement. - Own product quality and ensure compliance with DO-178B/C standards. - Collaborate with Systems, Certification, and other cross-functional teams. - Works on software design, coding, integration, and verification - Drive software optimization, automation, and engineering best practices. - Mentor team members and contribute to technical excellence. **Required Qualifications:** - Bachelor’s or master’s degree in aerospace, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline. - 7+ years of experience in avionics software development. - Mandatory experience in Flight Management System (FMS) software development. User Interface skills are recommended - Strong knowledge of DO-178B/C and software design, development, integration, and verification. - Experience working in a DevOps environment with CI/CD practices. - Strong programming skills in C/C++, scripting languages, and embedded real-time software development. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. **Desired Competencies:** - Strong ownership and accountability for product quality. - Ability to identify and implement optimized, scalable, and efficient solutions. - Self-driven team player with a passion for developing high-quality, safety-critical avionics software.
